so...4 weeks post vitrectomy.
My vision is still abysmal. 20/200, at best.
There is a steadily-decreasing bubble of gas; it casts all kinds of reflections upward. 4 days after stopping atropine drops, my pupil is gradually going down. Still not back to normal. Fairly disappointed at my crappy vision, total lack of depth perception, still distortion right of central vision. Last appt "the hole is closed", guess things could scar down, decrease the area of distortion. Time will tell. Meanwhile, there is a war going on at the site of the sutures. Huge inflammation, erythema, swelling, irritation. Blah.....really irritating and uncomfortable.
So: in total, vision: crappy. Eyeball: areas of intense inflammation and injection; very attractive. Pupil: still a bit dilated and light-sensitive.
And it's 4 WEEKS after surgery!! I must say, I was unprepared for this extended time of bad vision and annoying discomfort. I actually thought things would be better by now. Crap.
